How to Play

Prediction King is a free-to-play football prediction game. Predict the knockout scores, earn points, climb the leaderboard — and the champion wins a football jersey. No cost, no wagering, just football knowledge.

The basics

1. Register free — name, email and a password. No card, no payment, ever.
2. Pick your leaderboard name — how you'll appear to everyone else. Your real name stays private.
3. Predict the score of each knockout match — your exact 90-minute scoreline (no extra time or penalties).
4. Lock it in before kickoff. Once a match starts, that prediction is final.
5. Earn points and climb. The closer your prediction, the more you score.

How points work

Every match is scored on a simple tiered system:

Then points are multiplied by the round, so the later stages matter most and the title stays alive to the final whistle:

Worked example

Say a game finishes Brazil 2–1 Norway:

• You predicted 2–1 → 5 points (exact score).
• You predicted 3–1 → 3 points (right winner + Norway's goals).
• You predicted 4–2 → 1 point (right winner only).
• You predicted 1–1 → 0 points (you said draw).

Winning

The player with the highest total points across the whole knockout stage is crowned Prediction King and wins a football jersey of their choice — any team, their call. One entry per registered account. Open to players aged 18 and over. Full details in our Terms.
